 Robert Molyneaux, PhD

For more than 17 years, Dr. Molyneaux has led expert teams to develop high-performance microprocessors for the industry’s biggest names. Bob has developed front to back DFT methodologies for IBM, Motorola, and SUN Microsystems.

Dr. Molyneaux was the principal DFT architect for the world-class family of PowerPC chips, as well as the paradigm changing SUN Microsystems Niagara 2 System, in addition to a number of other leading edge microprocessors.

With more than 20 published papers, patents and patents pending, Bob has the insight and experience leading him to be a highly effective teacher of DFT tools, techniques and methods. During his career, he has managed projects with teams as far away as Bangalore, India and St. Petersburg, Russia.

When Bob's not globetrotting and creating winning solutions to DFT challenges, you'll find him in Austin, Texas, with Ann Marie — his wife of 24 years. Bob and Ann Marie are blessed with three amazing kids: Patrick (20), AJ (19) and Jennifer (18).
